The Trust has a vibrant strategic plan that includes a focus on deliberate learning through frontier adventure coupled with raising awareness of, and concern for, the natural environment.
We are seeking Instructors for our 4 residential centres, all in fantastic locations: Loch Eil in Scotland, Ullswater & Howtown in the Lake District and Aberdovey on the Welsh coast.

A clean driving licence (preferably including D1 entitlement) and valid First Aid Certificate are mandatory requirements for Instructors and Assistant Instructors.
You must be able to demonstrate the responsibility necessary to safely lead groups of young people on our courses.
For Assistant Instructor positions you should as a minimum have undertaken Summer ML and SPA Training and be working towards one of the above water based qualifications and be able to demonstrate a practical ability to deliver personal development courses to young people.
This position is subject to an enhanced Disclosure Check through the Criminal Records Bureau.
Closing date for applications: Friday, 5 September 2008. Interviews for all positions at all centres will be held on 12, 16, 17 September 2008 and 11 November 2008. Start dates: 21 October 2008 and 13 January 2009.
