Spend the summer teaching rock climbing activities to kids aged 6 to 16 on an American summer camp. BUNAC, the specialist in overseas work and travel programmes, is looking to recruit climbing instructors to spend nine weeks coaching kids as a specialist counsellor.
BUNAC individually places applicants on summer camps according to their preferences, skills and experience. Many camps have climbing walls and ropes/adventure courses, and so look to recruit anyone who has training in these areas in addition to experience of working with children in a leadership position.
Summer Camp USA offers a great package including a return flight to the USA, comprehensive insurance and free food and accommodation for the duration of your time on camp. We will give you all the help, advice and support that you need in both the UK and the USA.
This role will allow you to gain CV enhancing experience within a leadership position, make new friends from around the world and you will have the opportunity to live and work in the great American outdoors.
After camp, take advantage of the additional 30 days to travel around the USA, Canada and Mexico. Visit beautiful natural landmarks such as the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park and Niagara Falls, and experience world-class cities including New York, Chicago and San Francisco, to name only a few.
