We are looking for a Mountain bike instructor and sports leader to join us this summer in our camps.
Key component of the role is to teach mountain biking to kids at our international summer camp program. Additional requirements are to run sports classes, especially football, hockey, tennis, basketball.
We are looking for hard-working and lively individuals with good people skills who must be able to build rapport with kids from all backgrounds and manage a group in a safe and efficient manner. Good physical fitness and a positive attitude required. Must be willing to help in other areas of the camp program as necessary and as we are a residential camp this includes pastoral care of our youngsters.
Contract period is provisionally 26 June – 26 August 2009. Remuneration includes return travel from the UK, all meals, accommodation, use of equipment and facilities, training program and a weekly wage.
Must have CTC (formerly OTC) Trail Leader or SMBLA Trail Cycle Leader (TCL) award as minimum standard of qualification however Technical Leader and Mountain Bike Leader (MBL) awards are preferable.
Other useful qualifications include a mountain leader award and SPA.
