BUNAC's overseas work and travel programmes offer young people a unique opportunity to work or volunteer abroad. Whether you're looking to take a year out between studies, pursue a career break, have recently graduated or are between jobs, a BUNAC working holiday gives you the freedom and flexibility of spending an extended period of time living and working in another country.
The more popular programmes include Work America, Work Canada and working with children in leadership positions supervising various activities on the CV-enhancing, low-cost Summer Camp USA programme. Other opportunities include KAMP (Kitchen and Maintenance Programme) working in support positions on a summer camp, Work Australia, Work New Zealand, and community development placements on Volunteer and Teaching Abroad programmes in countries such as South Africa, Ghana, Cambodia, Peru, Costa Rica, USA and China.
As a BUNAC participant you can combine the working life of a country and have your travel destination on your doorstep. Places like Los Angeles, the Grand Canyon, the Rocky Mountains, Sydney, New Zealand's South Island, Cape Town, Macchu Pichu, the Great Wall of China, San Jose or the developing cities of Cambodia or Ghana, could be just around the corner!
