We are located in an idyllic position with the Rhinog Mountain Range behind us and Llandanwg Beach in front of us. One of our centres is located on the Artro Estuary and therefore we have immediate access to the water for water sports, and or other centre, Bryn-y-Moel, just 3/4 of a mile up the hill is located in 11 acres of woodland, ideal for land based activities. Being close to the mountain also gives us easy access for mountain sports.

A Typical Day in the Job
We are looking for someone with a passion for the outdoors, strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, compassion and understanding for your guests and colleagues, and the ability to adapt to different circumstances.
The successful candidate will be keen to share their Christian faith through the medium of outdoor education and will be willing to be involved in all aspects of Centre life. For this post, it is important that you are committed to CMC Adventure’s Christian ethos, working principles and vision and are able to demonstrate this through your commitment, motivation and service. It is therefore an Occupational Requirement (Equality Act - part 1, schedule 9), that the post-holder is a committed Christian.
Usually, you will work a 5-day week; leading activity sessions, training and supporting our trainee instructors, helping to maintain our equipment and lending a hand on change overs.
Teamwork is at the centre of everything we do here, and our primary aim is to enable as many people as possible to get out and enjoy the great outdoors, doing activities they may not usually have the opportunity to try. This means we are looking for someone who is able to build positive working relationships and is keen to be involved with the team’s social side as well.
Who are we looking for?
You will hold the following qualifications as a minimum:
• ML Summer
• BCU UKCC Level 1
It is desirable that you also have 3* Sea Kayak and Minibus D1 Entitlement however, training and assessment for these two qualifications can be provided after appointment for the right candidate.
Additional Qualifications, e.g. APIOL/RPIOL/RYA Dinghy Instructor, are an advantage.
The successful candidate is likely to have gained significant experience post NGB qualifications.
Experience in successfully training trainee instructors is highly desirable.
