typical day A Typical Day in the Job

Manor Adventure is an independent industry leading residential outdoor activity provider with 6 busy centres located around the UK & France.

We are now seeking a Training Manager/Technical Advisor to assist each Centre's Head of Centre and Activity Manager with regard to the maintenance of their Instructional staff.

As a member of the Senior Management Team the Head of Training/Technical Advisor will report directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for organising and delivering training to the instructor teams as well as ensuring that NGB guidelines are being followed in line with best practice and company standard operating procedures.

This is a full-time demanding role which will require extensive travel to/from our six centres. A suitable vehicle will be provided for such use along with food and accommodation when at these centres.


ideal candidate Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a wide knowledge of the outdoor industry in a residential environment operating within the commercial sector and also have a working knowledge of AALS and LOTC inspection regimes.

Applicants will be expected to hold some of or all the following professional qualifications:

- MIC
- MIA
- MTCP
- Minimum BCAB Paddle sports provider.
- FSRT provider
- SUP discipline module

It would advantageous to hold any other NGB qualifications.
