typical day A Typical Day in the Job

Your role

Working with our groups and schools you will deliver exciting and inspirational outdoor sessions including adventurous activities, environmental education, school camp experiences and interactive english language programmes. As a senior tutor you will assist with organising programmes and carrying out training and staff monitoring. Your role will also include on site and on call duty responsibilities as well as resource maintenance and development.

A typical day = 8.45am start and set up, 9.30am- 12.30pm teaching then 2-5pm teaching followed by pack down. Evening set up starts at 7pm with activities running 7.30-9pm. The role may involve teaching during these times or other duties such as assisting the Head of teaching with planning, resource maintenance, staff monitoring or training.

A typical onsite duty = 7.30am- 9.30am group and centre support over breakfast and morning team meetings then 4-10pm group and centre support over breakfast, evening activities with security checks and lock up procedures and being on call overnight for any emergencies.


ideal candidate Who are we looking for?

Desirable Qualifications:
Enhanced DBS (update service registered). This is a requirement for work on centre but we are able to assist with this if not held currently.
Archery GB Instructor / Lifeguard / Walking Award / First Aid
Degree in Environmental or Outdoor Studies
TEFL
Full, clean UK Driving License
