We are holders of the Learning Outside the Classroom and Adventure Mark badges and members of the British Activity Providers Association (BAPA).

Direct links with our Heads of Teaching at both centres to tailor programmes with regards to group needs and learning objectives.

typical day A Typical Day in the Job

A typical day = 8.45 am start and set up, 9.30 am- 12.30 pm teaching then 2-5 pm teaching followed by pack down. Evening set up starts at 7 pm with activities running 7.30-9 pm. The role may involve teaching during these times or other duties such as assisting the Head of teaching with planning, resource maintenance, staff monitoring or training.

A typical onsite duty = 7.30 am- 9.30 am group and centre support over breakfast and morning team meetings then 4-10 pm group and centre support over breakfast, evening activities with security checks and lock-up procedures and being on call overnight for any emergencies.


ideal candidate Who are we looking for?

Preferred for Fieldwork Tutors:
Degree in Geography, Biology or relevant subject (Environmental)

Advantageous Qualifications:
Previous experience of working with children
Enhanced DBS (update service registered)
NGBs in archery, climbing, high ropes and kayaking
TEFL
Full, clean UK Driving License
First Aid
