Chief Instructor at Carroty Wood: a typical day

We have an exciting opportunity for a Chief Instructor to lead, motivate and develop a team of high quality instructors and trainees, ensuring industry best-practice and excellence in activity training and delivery. As a key member of the Centre Leadership Team, you will be able to clearly communicate our Christian ethos, objectives, mission and vision to staff and guests.

Who are we looking for?
what makes you the ideal candidate

You will need to have experience of leading and motivating a staff team as well as strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills. The successful applicant will ideally need to hold the following qualifications: ML (S), RCI, British Canoeing Coaching Award – Open Canoe or White Water Kayak and nationally recognised Mountain Biking Leader.

This role is subject to an Occupational Requirement (OR) that the successful applicant is a Christian who is committed to the values, beliefs and behaviours set out in our ethos statement.
