A Typical Day in the Job
A typical day starts with a team meeting in the morning around 0845 followed by session set up til 0930. 0930- 1230 are two session slots with a short break between. Then we break for lunch and set up for the afternoon sessions starting at 2pm and finishing at 5pm. Through May- Sept we offer our groups the use of the swimming pool with our lifeguards in attendance.
Tutors also run evening activities on a rota system with set up starting at 7pm and sessions running 7.30-9pm.
On a rota basis tutors cover the duty role for a week at a time, this involves being on duty over mealtimes, evening lock up duties and holding the on call phone overnight.
Who are we looking for?
Applicants must provide or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
Desirable qualifications include-
NGBs in archery, climbing, high ropes and kayaking
Degree in geography or relevant field (biology / environmental).
