typical day A Typical Day in the Job

The young people in our care have often experienced traumatic events in their lives leading them to display complex and challenging forms of behaviour. We are therefore looking to recruit supportive and empathetic individuals dedicated to promoting the rights and welfare of children.

You will work within our response service which means supporting and assessing young people who typically undertake 12-17 week placements with us. We are looking for people with a passion for the outdoors as we use outdoor activities as a way of assessing and developing the confidence of the young people in our care.


ideal candidate Who are we looking for?

As a Response Residential Care Worker you will work with young people referred to us in order to undertake 12-17 week placements and will play a critical role in assessing and supporting the young person. As this service is outdoor based, we are looking for individuals who possess outdoor qualifications such as SPA, ML and BCU awards; along with a keen interest in outdoor activities.

You will be someone with the drive to make a difference to the lives of others and be dedicated to promoting the rights and welfare of children.
