Ocean Elements is a medium sized tour operator, specialising in summer beach activity holidays across 3 beautiful resorts in Greece. We have 3 dedicated beach centres for Sailing and Windsurfing, hosting between 50 and 100 guests which allows us to provide a personal service to our guests and a small team environment for our staff.
A Typical Day in the Job
You will ensure guests are are comfortable and feeling confident with the correct equipment for their chosen activity. Although it is likely you will not be a qualified instructor yourself, you will play a crucial part in a hands on dynamic team, assisting the water sports instructors and guests as required.
This role gives you excellent opportunity to further establish your customer service skills and develop relationships with our guests. You could be the friendly helpful face they look to when requiring assistance.
Within our programme we encourage and support our staff with their development and training and there is every opportunity within this position to gain further qualifications whilst on placement and develop your career to become a fully qualified Watersports Instructor!
Who are we looking for?
It is essential that you have the following qualifications:
o First Aid
It is highly desirable that you possess one or more of the following qualifications:
o RYA Assistant Instructor
o RYA Powerboat Level 2
o Safety Boat Certificate
o BCU Kayak Instructor
o SUP Instructor
o Essential: Relevant / Transferable Work Experience
o Desirable: Seasonal overseas experience gained within Beach or Ski Tour Operator
