a typical day

We at Delta Force pride ourselves on being a customer experience company. Our main focuses are customer service, hospitality and experience and ensuring that each of our customers leaves with long-lasting memories.

This role at Delta force includes daytime and early evening work on weekdays and weekends - including customer gamedays and maintenance/site work non-gamedays. Longer and shorter shifts do occur due to the nature of the job and depending on that day to day situation.

Weekend game days include the following:

• Opening and closing the centre in a safe and secure manner.

• Working with and training new members of staff to uphold our standards on

customers gamedays.

• Welcoming players in and giving them the best outdoor recreation

experience possible.

• Handling financial transactions

• Problem-solving and objection handling.

• Marshalling/ Instructing out on live paintball games.

• Kit set up and close down - including cleaning and repairing

• Safety briefing

• Sales and rapport building.

• You will be hands-on at all times, this is not an office job! :)

Non-gameday site workdays include:

• Preparation for your upcoming gamedays.

• Running weekday gamedays (they can occur at any time)

• Upholding the maintenance of the game fields, including fixing

structures, repainting etc.

• The maintenance of our guns, goggles and kit.

• Maintenance of the centre as a whole ensuring everything is safe and

secure.

• Recruiting new staff and training them.

• Paperwork and admin.

• Collecting deliveries and placing certain orders for items.

Who are we looking for?
what makes you the ideal candidate

The position is ideal for someone looking for seasonal work based in Sweden or the Netherlands initially. Immediate, on the job training, will be provided in the UK with a view for the successful candidate to be seasonally based in either Sweden or Holland from March – November 2018. This position is subject to a minimum 12-week probationary period.

The ideal candidate should;
• Be Over 18
• Have a full driving license
• Have experience in running an outdoor activity centre (desirable, not
essential)
• Have experience with safety management and compliance
• Have a valid passport
• Will to be based abroad for a contractual period on a seasonal basis

Further attributes we are looking for;
• Physically fit - this job isn't suitable for someone who's afraid of hard
work and physical activity. You will be on your feet all day long.
• Enthusiastic & energetic - your team and customers will look to you for
energy, if you can’t turn it on, then nor will others!
• Polite & engaging - you will be dealing with all sorts of people, from a
kids birthday party to a stag dos or an office work party, as well as
parents & group organisers.
• Assertive & commanding - You need to be able to 'own' your position and
take charge of financial and paperwork duties as well as leading a team
of paintball guru's to offer an epic experience.
• Sales skills - People come here to play paintball and you need to have
the personality to upsell & recommend products to players and game
organisers.
• Paperwork & IT skills - you will be using a computer and POS system to
input transactions and also will be responsible for the daily paperwork
from each gameday
• Fun & Exciting - above all, people come to this facility to have a great
time, create awesome memories and have fun. Reckon you're the person to
