Ocean Elements is a medium sized tour operator, specialising in summer beach activity holidays across 3 beautiful resorts in Greece. We have 3 dedicated beach centres for Sailing and Windsurfing, hosting between 50 and 100 guests which allows us to provide a personal service to our guests and a small team environment for our staff.
A Typical Day in the Job
What you will be doing:
o Interacting with all guests in a professional yet relaxed fashion
o Attending evening social events e.g. Charity fundraisers, Welcome
Meal and Send-off BBQ
o Opening and securing all beach equipment, including lifting and
moving equipment and security cages
o Preparing equipment for tuition and free-sailing, including lifting
and moving equipment ready for launching
o Routine maintenance checks on all equipment and completion of
o Teaching groups of young guests new skills in line with the
governing body syllabus
o Being responsible for all safety aspects of your session whilst you
are afloat, including considerations for ability, weather conditions
and suitable craft to use
o Providing safety cover for all aspects of our waterfront operation
o Carrying out stock takes and other essential paperwork
o Carrying out first aid and complete accident forms as necessary
o Assisting other departments as per operational needs
Who are we looking for?
To apply for this role you must:
1. Hold an RYA DUAL Qualification, DI / WI.
2. Hold a current and valid First Aid Certificate
3. Hold a current and valid DBS Certificate
4. Hold RYA Powerboat level 2 qualification
