We are a not-for-profit organisation that is based just outside the Peak District. We opened in 2016 and are a young company who are constantly developing and improving ourselves and our offering. We're completely independent and have a small, close knit team. Our primary customers are school groups, but we also work with charities, rugby clubs, corporate groups, apprenticeship programmes, and families and individuals. We offer a range of activities including but not limited to: archery, rock climbing, abseiling, bushcraft, zip wire, orienteering. We are AALA licenced, and an AHOEC Gold Standard Centre.

Affordable accommodation is available (not shared, each staff member has their own bedroom) in housing about a 5 minutes walk away from Mount Cook. Meals are provided for free while on shift. We offer a longer and more flexible contract than most Adventure Centres, so you will be employed from January 2025 to November 2025. Most of our staff come back year after year.
