Looking to start a career in luxury hospitality within the maritime industry? UKSA’s 3-week Superyacht Steward and Stewardess Training course is the perfect first step for anyone aspiring to work onboard luxury superyachts.
Developed to align with the reputable IAMI GUEST Programme and delivered by UKSA’s experienced superyacht instructor team and experts within their fields. This industry-recognised, all-inclusive course gives you the practical skills and knowledge needed to deliver the high standards of service and attention to detail expected on 5-star vessels. No two days are the same—just like life onboard. One day you might be learning flower arranging, and wine and cocktail presentation, the next you could be completing firefighting training. The course reflects the wide range of skills required to succeed in the superyacht industry.
Training takes place at UKSA’s dedicated superyacht training centre, complete with fully equipped cabins, a dining room, superyacht galley, and laundry facilities. This immersive environment provides a realistic onboard experience, helping you build confidence, professionalism, and the right mindset to step onto your first superyacht ready to succeed.
Who are we looking for?
the requirements for this course
Interior crew are typically required to work long hours and must be physically fit and able. You must be energetic and enthusiastic with an ability to work to a high standard in all tasks.
Some previous experience in hospitality is a great bonus, but not at all necessary to join the training. Also if you have aligned experience in beauty, food and beverages, catering, wine and art appreciation, massage, sports and training, these extra skills will also be useful in your career progression.
Whilst it’s not essential to hold your ENG1 to complete your training with UKSA, it is required to hold this to secure work in the industry.
