We are a friendly outdoor centre who operate for the sole purpose of giving young people an outdoor adventurous experience. We are a charity and therefore our goal is not money but to give young people experiences that last forever. We offer accommodation free of charge and give all our staff access to a shared catering facility. We provide free uniform and for the right staff also offer courses to develop our staff.

The job description

Outdoor Activity Instructor: a typical day

We meet at 8.30 am each day, set up the activities we are running that day. We then deliver the sessions on the morning have lunch and deliver more sessions in the afternoon. There are some evening sessions that you may be delivering on an ad hoc basis also.

Who are we looking for?

what makes you the ideal candidate

Qualifications are an advantage but not necessary but if you have climbing, paddling or archery qualifications then great.
This can be an in-house position, or you can live out, we have catering facilities on site for you to use. We work a 5 day week including weekends with some evening sessions. You will also complement our team of fulltime and seasonal staff. You will be required to work in all aspects of centre life delivering sessions and assisting in keeping the Centre clean and looking smart.
