The course description
a typical day on this course

Maritime Futures Programme is a hands-on, immersive introduction to maritime training and careers on and around the water. The course is an ideal opportunity for young people aged 14'25-year-olds with a passion for the ocean, who would be interested in working in the maritime industry. The course provides an understanding of roles available and the pathways to get there. Varied roles in the maritime industry can include cruise ships, work boats, superyachts, and windfarms.

While no formal training in sailing or watersports is required, the programme is designed to build on existing enjoyment of the ocean and interest working in a maritime role.

Graduates of the programme have the option of undertaking a range of further courses at UKSA, designed to equip them with the skills and qualifications needed to launch their careers at sea. These include Further Education programmes and for those aged 18+, professional career training at UKSA.
